As we embark upon a voyage into the new millennium, it gives us an opportunity to reflect on “What is” and “What should be”. The last two decades of the 20th century have seen a revolution in almost all walks of life. The world is fast converging from a set of different nationalities on a global village. We are truly witnessing the arrival of the Aquarian Age on the era of intellect. The Industrial revolution heralded the dominance of machine over man. The intellectual revolution of today has reversed this and reinforced the supremacy of the mind over the machine.

What lesson does this scenario hold for all of us? Simply that today the soil is ready for us to sow the seeds of a unified vision. The mind power is potent enough to provide the energy to convert our vision into reality. The world is changing and moving at a fast pace. In this race only the fastest and the most techno-savvy will survive; and for this set of people, there is neither any impediment nor a limit.

Let us have a vision for our country- a nation of knowledge workers, of technical and intellectuals super powers, culturally enriched and mature and last but not least, a model for the rest of the world to emulate as a united, prosperous and clean nation of the people who cherish values and ideals.

I am sure that if every-one of us selflessly does his duty to himself, his home, the society, the nation and the world, we shall soon witness a transformation around us. To quote Virgil:

“They can because they think they can”.

Shiva Shiksha Sadan embodies an age – old adage (aham brahma ) (In Hindi)) -that man is the architect of his own fate and the maker of his own destiny. With the rapid changes in the world educational scenario, a sincere and earnest thought is given time-to-time to provide such an education which expands the intellect, initiates into the life of truth and the practice of values and moral rectitude, draws every intrinsic potentiality to create a sound mind in a sound body and makes the learners in harmony with all existence, broad- minded and SELF-RELIANT which is the very essence of the school motto .With the kind benisons of Lord Shiva, the School has been carving a niche in conspicuously accomplishing the School Motto and getting wide National Acclaim since its inception.

The basic aim of education is all-round development of the child and SHIVA SHIKSHA SADAN has been meeting it by providing quality education. It is today one of the leading institution in Haryana. The motto of our school is, which means ‘You are the king of your fate; try to be self reliant and self confident.’ Thus the school prepares the children to meet challenges of life. The children are trained not only in manners, learning how to conduct themselves towards parents, teachers, friends, relatives in particular and society in general, but are also infused with the qualities of good citizenship to enable them to become useful to the country after schooling.
